Below are the 3 programmes we are running in Green Skills, I have included links to more information and also who the programme is aimed at. I hope its helpful, and any help to spread the words is very much appreciated!
Introduction to Green Careers
This 1 week course will take introduce learners to all the different renewable technologies on the market, how they work, and what careers are available within the sector. From installation to retrofit assessors, a range of roles will be looked at, including entry requirements and how to take the first steps.
Our first cohort is due to run 18th-22nd November, and we will provide lunch and also reimburse learners for transport.
This course is aimed at adults who might be unemployed, or are looking to retrain in the sector.
There is no cost for this course, and it will be held at the Belle Vue Centre, Cinderford.

Skills Bootcamp – Air Source Heat Pump
Skills Bootcamps are government initiatives and are heavily funded, meaning small companies can upskill and retrain for a fraction of the price. This Skills Bootcamp will include:
- Introduction to Environmental Technologies, online module delivered in 1 day
- Level 3 in low temperature heating systems, face to face delivered in 2 days
- Level 3 in the installation and maintenance of air source heat pumps, face to face delivered in 3 days
- MCS made easy, online module delivered in 1 day

Skills Bootcamp – Solar PV
Skills Bootcamps are government initiatives and are heavily funded, meaning small companies can upskill and retrain for a fraction of the price. This Skills Bootcamp will include:
- Introduction to Environmental Technologies, online module delivered in 1 day
- Level 3 in the installation and maintenance of small scale solar PV systems, face to face delivered over 3 days
- Level 3 in battery storage, face to face delivered over 2 days
- MCS made easy, online module delivered in 1 day
